A common question I get asked is “ Do I drink it “. Yes occasionally but pretty rare to be honest. Maybe 1-2 drinks 4 x a year.

WHY?
I honestly don’t enjoy the taste , Steve and my friends laugh when they get me to try one my face screws up like I’ve just swallowed Scoobys poo 💩 but honestly that’s how gross it taste to me , I honestly don’t know how so many people enjoy the taste.
A girls night a few weeks ago they gave us all shots, everyone chugged theirs down and I threw it over my shoulder and one of my besties caught my red handed and giggled and gave me a wink 😉- she knows me too well haha

Second of all - I HATE how I feel the next day - just not in my game , more sluggish, crave more food , headachy etc
Thirdly - my skin breaks out- it really holds NO nutrients whatsoever and my skin , energy and body remind me of that after a few drinks!
Fourth reason - the sugar and empty calories - no thanks haha id way rather clean treats , an extra entree or an ice cream which I enjoy so much more lol ( each to their own I know that’s not the case for everyone and that’s ok this is just my personal reasons )
5th reason - omg it’s SO expensive !!! This little cocktail in my hand $20! Yep for ONE DRINK !!!

I’d way rather put my money into other things , organic groceries , new sneakers , a blow dry or more food 😁

For years I would hear from people they can’t afford to be healthy yet they drink every fri / sat night , buy a morning coffee and order Uber eats multiple times a week.
PRIORITIES!
Im not saying to never drink or eat out as life is all about balance but when people make excuses to NOT put their health as a priority then we’ll that’s not cool 😎. .
You don’t need a lot of money to be healthy but I think if you are struggling it’s always good to check in and see where you can prioritise more of your time, money and focus into putting your body and health a little higher up on the list😚 #ashybines
