ADAPTING to this new normal .
Definitely was a bit to get use to BUT finding my new routine has helped me a lot.
My mornings are no longer started with an alarm and the rush to get up and go which I’ve done the last 15 years of my life so it felt weird at first now I’m enjoying my body waking and moving when it FEELS like it’s time. I’m enjoying the cuddles with Steve and taj In the Am, really breathing into my morning stretch routine and I feel so much calmer.
I felt a bit scattered at first with this whole covid19 isolation and not going to the office and meeting staff was def strange / but as the days go on I’m blocking out my work hours , taj hours , movement time and also planning more delicious food ( slow cooker this week has been so yum 😋) so all in all planning and structuring my days to be in some sort of routine which helps me feel more organised and still achieve what I need to daily and has helped me not feel as lost and uncertain with my direction. My squad app keeps me from getting bored with workouts and recipes and seeing all the squad girls support each other and pump each other up through this time is so beautiful too!
Acceptance and letting go is a new practice throughout this whole process is something we will all now be forced to get better at and have more faith that this whole situation will serve us and help us grow in ways we have been avoiding before.
It does give me comfort we are all going through this together 🙏🏼
